“Paul was incredible to work with!

We had a family member who passed and needed a song that they had performed when they were younger for the funeral. The song was on a 45 record and needed to have it transferred to an MP3.

Not only did he come to our home to pick up the record, but he also was able to clean up the sound on it so that it was less muddy due to the age of the record (was around 1974 when it was recorded). Was beautiful and clear.

He was able to return the song and record back in less than 24 hours! Very grateful to have been able to find him! Highly recommend his services.”

If you've got a mix of different formats, we can handle everything in a single order - one pickup, one conversation, everything back at your door.

  • Pricing depends on the format. Cassette and vinyl transfers start at $24.99 per item. Reel to reel transfers start at $39.99 per reel. CD ripping starts at $0.49 per disc.

We offer bulk discounts for larger collections, and you're always welcome to get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote before committing to anything.

  • Yes - we're based in Fairfield, CT and offer free pickup and delivery throughout Fairfield County and parts of New Haven County.

We come to you, so there's no need to drop anything off.

  • With a local service like Remember Whenever, your media never leaves Fairfield County.

There's no risk of loss or damage in transit, you can talk directly to the technicians handling your recordings, and you get your originals back in person.

Mail-in services can work for straightforward jobs, but when the recordings are irreplaceable most people prefer knowing exactly where their media is the whole time.

  • We deliver MP3 or WAV files, depending on your preference - or both, if you'd like.

MP3 is the most compatible format for everyday listening and sharing across devices. WAV is uncompressed and ideal if you want archival quality or plan to do any further editing.

We can also transfer to CD, or provide both a digital file and a CD for an additional $15 per item.

  • Yes. Every order can include basic audio cleanup - removing hiss, pops, clicks, and background noise - so your recordings sound as good as they possibly can.

For more extensive work such as heavy distortion, degraded recordings, or professional remastering, we offer a full audio restoration service.

See our Audio Restoration page for details and pricing.

  • Absolutely. Most of our customers come to us with a mix - a box of cassettes and a few records, or some reels alongside a pile of CDs.

We handle everything together, price each format accordingly, and return it all at once. It's the easiest way to get through a whole collection in one go.

  • Most orders are completed within a few days to a week, depending on the size of your collection and our current schedule.

Larger or more complex collections may take a week or two.

We'll give you a realistic timeframe upfront and keep you updated throughout.

  • Don't worry too much about this before you get in touch. We've worked with tapes and records in all kinds of condition - from pristine to genuinely rough.

If something needs extra attention (a tape splice, a clean before playing, a bake to deal with sticky shed), we'll let you know what's involved and the cost before we proceed.

We never do extra work without asking first.

  • We return everything. Your original tapes, records, and reels come back to you when we deliver your completed order.

We don't keep, copy, or share any of your recordings.

Your digital files are available via a free 30-day download and sharing link (up to 100GB), giving you plenty of time to download and back everything up.
