Paul Schneider
OWNER / HEAD TECHNICIAN
Born in England (the old one) during the golden age of home media. The first moving images of me were captured on Super 8 film by my dad, who worked his way through every new camera technology that came along. He diligently recorded our family memories, sports games, and vacations - moments we digitized and love to relive together today.
In 2011, I moved to the U.S. and started working for the largest (and best) family media transfer company in Southern California. There, I was schooled in everything I know about preserving family legacies through digitization, all the while providing the best possible service and learning new ways to enhance the product for our customers.
After 14 years in the business, I’ve had the pleasure of helping countless families update their legacies to stand the test of time. I’ve seen so many happy tears shed when we bring a forgotten memory back to life or restore the voice of a loved one unheard for decades. Those moments inspire me to keep doing what I do, because I know how valuable this service is.
Over the years, I’ve seen some magnificent images, film footage, and videos (and a few things I definitely wish I could un-see!). I’ve also had the privilege of managing many large-scale projects spanning months or even years for universities, non-profits, movie special effects studios, and government agencies.
I have a passion for my work, I truly love what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful for all our customers who entrust Remember Whenever with their priceless memories.
Carol
Carol takes her role as Office Manager very seriously. A distinguished (and sometimes slightly grumpy) lady, Carol has mastered the fine balance between napping on the job and running a tight ship. She may be small, but make no mistake - she’s the boss.
A true people-lover (especially those with snacks), Carol is the first to gently greet our lab visitors.
She has an uncanny ability to detect pizza through multiple doors and will promptly remind you that sharing is, in fact, caring. Whether she’s supervising from the comfort of her bed or strategically positioning herself in high-traffic treat zones, Carol ensures a warm welcome to all.
When not holding court, Carol enjoys the finer things in life: long, luxurious naps, sunbathing in whatever sliver of sunlight she can find, and the occasional zoomie to remind everyone she’s still got it. Her skills in her field are unmatched, and her dedication to the team (and lunchtime) is unwavering. In short, Carol keeps the office running smoothly…on her terms, of course.
